J.J. Spaun delivered a finish to remember on his way to winning the 2025 US Open. The 34-year-old holed a 64-foot putt on the 18th hole at Oakmont Country Club to win the season's third major with a one-under score.

The winner of the 2025 U.S. Open will take home a hefty paycheck of $4.3 million, the same amount as last year's winner Bryson DeChambeau.

The winner of the U.S. Open golf tournament in 2025 will earn $4.3 million as part of a $21.5 million purse, according to the PGA Tour.

The prize fund of £15.9million in 2024 was the highest of any major, surpassing the Masters, PGA Championship and The Open. In addition, the £3.2m cheque for the winner was the biggest for a one-off event outside of the season-ending Tour Championship.
