There's a new version of macOS coming later this year — macOS 26, aka Tahoe. Apple showed off the newest version of its laptop operating system at WWDC on Monday, with a focus on the new design elements.

A big theme of macOS 26 is more interactivity with your other Apple devices, as the company is upgrading a slew of Continuity features in macOS. It's also going to look a little different, as Apple is bringing key elements of its new "Liquid Glass" design language to macOS so it looks a bit more like iPadOS 26, iOS 26 and VisionOS.

Apple's macOS Tahoe 26 will sport the company's new 'Liquid Glass' design alongside some incremental updates to let you better access content across Apple devices.
