Red Sox slugger Rafael Devers earned the American League Player of the Week award just days after his public complaints about the team asking him to move to first base.

Throughout the course of the season, dozens of players win Player of the Week honors. But there will probably only be one who did it the same week he called out his general manager. Maybe we shouldn't make sweeping generalizations.

Devers won his third AL Player of the Week award during a time when his off-field comments are generating more headlines than his hot bat.
