Disney's 'Snow White' remake, starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, is opening on top of the box office. Robert De Niro's 'The Alto Knights' is bombing.

Starring Rachel Zegler in the titular role and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, Snow White had been tracking to open to cross at $50 million, although Disney had been conservative in putting out a range of $45 million and $55 million. Globally, still hopes to clear $100 million in its launch.

Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first animated feature film produced in the United States and it became a groundbreaking success.
