The Congressional Budget Office said Monday that President Donald Trump’s newly signed “big beautiful bill” will increase the U.S. national debt by $3.4 trillion by 2034, according to CNBC. The extends Trump’s 2017 tax cuts and adds deductions for tips and overtime while boosting military and deportation spending.

Planned Parenthood said in a statement after the injunction that it's thankful the court recognized “the harm” caused by the bill.

While the court ruled some of Planned Parenthood's members will be exempt from the bill's provision, it still leaves a significant number subject to its terms.

A judge blocked the Trump administration from stripping Medicaid funds from Planned Parenthood after Congress and President Donald Trump agreed to defund the nonprofit through passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
