President Donald Trump offered praise Monday for Sydney Sweeney amid backlash over a denim ad campaign featuring the actress wearing American Eagle jeans. "Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the HOTTEST ad out there," Trump wrote on his social media platform.

A Levi’s spokesperson declined to comment Wednesday about the cultural debate that has developed from its new ads with Beyoncé, and American Eagle’s new campaign with Sweeney. Media requests to AEO and its outside public relations firm Shadow were not acknowledged.

Denim aside, this isn't the first time Kelly has taken issue with Beyoncé. In June, the media personality accused the Destiny's Child alum of "playing victim" after Bey included footage of Kelly dissing her in visuals for the Cowboy Carter Tour.
