As of Tuesday, July 15, a total of 107 bodies have been recovered in Kerr County, 70 adults and 37 children, officials told KSAT 12. Meanwhile, the number of missing stands at 97, the same number Gov. Greg Abbott reported on Monday, July 14. The number is a sharp decrease from the 161 reported missing in Kerr County alone.

Search and rescue efforts resume for an eleventh day as crews continue to look for the 161 missing from the Guadalupe River that surged on the Fourth of July, after a brief pause Sunday due to an emergency weather alert from Kerr County officials.

"There is a plan in place right now to accomplish draining the lake. We can't go any further than that, then to tell you that is being looked at right now," said Commissioner Tom Jones.

The number of people missing in the Kerrville area due to the Fourth of July floods has been reduced to 97, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said during a news conference on Monday.

UPDATE: Kerr County Sherrif Larry Leitha reports that as of 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, there are 95 deceased. Among the deceased are 59 adults, 14 who are unidentified, 36 children and 13 unidentified children. There are still five children from Camp Mystic who are missing, as well as one counselor.

The Kerr County Sheriff's Office is calling flooding in Kerr County "catastrophic." Several people are still missing and there are at least 24 deaths.

A memorial service was held in Kerr County, Texas on Friday to honor the victims and those still missing from flooding that recently struck the region.
