OpenAI’s next model promises to be a big deal, and it could be here as soon as August. OpenAI is reportedly preparing to release GPT-5, its much-anticipated next-generation AI model, sometime in early August.

OpenAI’s newest artificial intelligence model, GPT-5, is slated for release in early August. GPT-5 will be available in mini and nano versions – lightweight versions that prioritise speed over computing power.

Despite launching its ambitious ChatGPT Agent just last week, in typical OpenAI fashion, there are rumblings of an even bigger release on the near horizon: GPT-5.
