Future Real Madrid player Franco Mastantuono had moments of brilliance in River Plate's first Club World Cup match.

Real Madrid have signed River Plate star Franco Mastantuono, the LaLiga club has announced. Mastantuono, 17, is with River in the United States for the Club World Cup, and will join Madrid in August.

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Franco Mastantuono from River Plate. The 17-year-old will sign a six-year deal at the Spanish champions, joining the club officially on August 14, before River Plate’s Copa Libertadores last-16 tie against Libertad.
