Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles hopes to sign guard Joe Thuney to a contract extension after getting deals done with cornerback Kyler Gordon and linebacker T.

During a pre-NFL draft press conference on Tuesday, general manager Ryan Poles told reporters that signing Thuney to a contract extension is a "priority" for the team. Obviously, Poles and company are going to be busy this week with the draft.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that "the consensus around the league" is the Tennessee Titans will hold onto the No. 1 overall pick. That strengthens the perception they intend to take Miami's Cam Ward, who's widely considered the best quarterback available.
