The fire, called the Mile Marker 65 Fire because of its location about 8 miles south of Boise, started shortly before 1 p.m., according to WildCAD, a wildfire dispatch system. The fire grew to about 5,000 acres by 4 p.m.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR)put out a car fire right next to the Eastside Animal Shelter Saturday. AFR says they were dispatched to the area a little after noon. Crews say they were not injured, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

GOODING, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Around 3:10, on Thursday, Idaho511 reported a vehicle fire and brush fire on northbound State Highway 46 between Gooding and Wendell. The call came into the Gooding Fire Department at 2:58, according to Fire Chief Steven Bishop. The vehicle fire started and it turned into a brush fire.
