The Denver Broncos made several roster moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
The Green Bay Packers will face one of their toughest tests of the season on Sunday against the Denver Broncos in a matchup between teams with a legitimate chan
Notable odds: The Rams are essentially a lock to make the playoffs (97% odds on NFL.com), but they are still in a very tight race with the Seahawks and 49ers in the NFC West. The No. 1 seed isn't a lock by any means but the Rams are the favorites, per The Athletic's playoff odds, at 48%.
In addition to the six CFL players, the Broncos also brought in a quarterback, wide receiver, edge defender and defensive back. Here's a quick look at those four players.
Last year, the Broncos went 10-7 in coach Sean Payton's second season, reaching the NFL playoffs for the first time since the team won Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 campaign. Payton will now attempt to get his squad back to the playoffs -- and he has aspirations to go much further than the Wild Card round this time.
The Packers are healthy at wide receiver, and their stable of pass-catchers could create serious issues for the Broncos' cornerbacks. Patrick Surtain II, Ja’Quan McMillian, Riley Moss, and Jahdae Barron will have their work cut out for them with the stable of receivers the Packers have, and that doesn't include their tight ends.
For now, Joseph and Webb are focused on Denver's 2025 campaign, but it's possible that this could be their final season with the Broncos. Sean Payton lost three coaches to other clubs last offseason, and it appears that trend might continue in 2026.
