New Orleans parade-goers urged to follow Mardi Gras etiquette for safety of students
The appeal for student safety comes ahead of the first full weekend of Carnival parades in New Orleans. NOLA Public School leaders urge the community to follow certain rules like not crossing in front of marching bands, not throwing anything at students dancing or performing in the parade, and not touching any students in a band or dance group.
