Nvidia GeForce Now is about to get a dedicated app on Steam Deck and start supporting streaming via browser on several virtual and mixed reality headsets.

GeForce NOW on the Vision Pro, Quest, and Pico devices includes “all the bells and whistles of NVIDIA technologies, including ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS,” the company confirmed. GeForce NOW members on the Performance and Ultimate subscriptions can “tap into RTX and DLSS technologies in supported games” for even better visuals.

The app will boost game quality and selection, but you'll need a GeForce Now subscription to make it worthwhile.

Nvidia has announced that it's releasing a native GeForce Now app for Steam Deck later this year, so you won't need to use that workaround anymore.

Nvidia's cloud-gaming platform will bring thousands of PC games to Steam Deck handhelds and Meta Quest headsets with RTX 4080-level graphics.

Nvidia is expanding its GeForce Now game streaming service to more platforms, including the Meta Quest 3 and 3S, Pico, and, yes, even the Apple Vision Pro.

Nvidia announced that GeForce Now is coming to India in the first half of this year. The company is launching its own data center.

NVIDIA uncorked some news regarding the GeForce NOW service at CES 2025, and it has officially been confirmed to come to the Steam Deck sometime in 2025.
