Paige Bueckers has long been ready for the moment. Whether at Hopkins High School or the University of Connecticut, Bueckers always has been a winning player who shines when the lights are brightest. For example, as a freshman at UConn in 2021, she scored 28 points in an Elite Eight game against Baylor to lead her team to the Final Four.

Ogunbowale was even more impressive. The four-time All-Star made WNBA history by registering a 15-point, 10-assist double-double in the first half. Ogunbowale finished with 20 points, a career-high 14 assists, a steal and two triples.

D allas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers has already turned into one of the top stars in the WNBA. After being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, Bueckers has not disappointed or fallen short of the expectations.
