CAIRO — Iran struck two communities near Israel’s main nuclear research center late Saturday, leaving buildings shattered and at least seven people seriously injured, hours after Tehran’s main nuclear enrichment site was hit as the war spun into a dangerous new direction at the start of its fourth week.

Three of the four states surrounding Kansas are home to military installations on a list of potential nuclear missile targets.

The facility, which was located inside Tehran’s Malek-Ashtar University, was used to develop ballistic missiles in addition to nuclear weapons, the IDF stated.

Iran’s Minister of Intelligence Esmaeil Khatib was killed overnight in a precision strike, a senior Israeli official said. His targeting was a joint U.S. and Israeli effort as Operation Epic Fury and Operation Roaring Lion continue.
