Emma Raducanu won her first match at the US Open since her 2021 triumph by breezing past a Japanese qualifier in windy conditions.

Emma Raducanu defeated qualifier Ena Shibahara 6-1, 6-2 in 62 minutes to advance to the second round of the US Open. It's her first win in New York since her 2021 title run.
