After a week off, the Texas Longhorns return to the field today to take on the Florida Gators at the Swamp. This will be UT's first SEC game of the year. Two preseason Heisman hopefuls will be at quarterback for each team. While neither Texas' Arch Manning or Florida's DJ Lagway have lived up to expectations, there is still plenty of season left.

The Texas Longhorns fell out of the top 25 after an embarrassing loss at the hands of the Florida Gators, where the defense looked out of sorts and the offense couldn’t get out of its own way. The running game was nonexistent, and Arch Manning showed both the highs and lows of his play in the narrow loss.

Texas Longhorns football coach Steve Sarkisian could be a better fit for his alma mater, the BYU Cougars. Perhaps Sark can seek an exit from Austin to be there.
