I don't really know that much about audio. Up until now I just kinda ignored the equalizer in Winamp... but I'm curious... how do you use the equalizer? What are some basics in how you're supposed to ...

My mp3 and mpc files sound good with the equalizer settings and stuff but for some reason when I play ape files in winamp it sounds kinda like mp3s do in winamp with the equalizer totally turned off.
