Graham Potter felt his sacking as Chelsea head coach, after just seven months in charge, was unfair and he left Stamford Bridge once again with a burning sense of injustice.

He almost took revenge on his former employers, with Jarrod Bowen giving West Ham a one-goal lead by the break. But Pedro Neto equalised in the 64th minute, before an Aaron Wan-Bissaka own goal decided the contest in favour of the hosts.
