As missiles fell on Tel Aviv, Israeli and Iranian envoys traded accusations at an emergency UN meeting over the legality and consequences of Israel’s preemptive strike

Israeli emergency services have said at least two people were killed in the strikes and dozens of people are injured.

Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles toward Israel on Friday night in retaliation for Israel's surprise attack early Friday. Israel struck at the heart of the Iran's nuclear program, killing several nuclear scientists as well as high-ranking military leaders, according to Israeli officials.

The retaliatory strikes came on Saturday, a day after Israel killed top Iranian military leaders and scientists and destroyed an aboveground nuclear enrichment plant near Natanz.

Three people have been killed in Israel, according to officials and local media, with both sides saying the strikes will continue.

According to a report from the Jerusalem Post, Muhammad Abd al Karim al Ghamari, the chief of staff for the Houthis, was the main target of the strike.

A resident of Kafr Kanna was arrested shortly after posting a picture of the Iranian flag accompanied by a song of support and a salute to the flag, police confirmed. Northern District police located the man behind the social media posts, arrived at his home, and arrested him for questioning.
