Snow to bring messy Thursday evening commute to Maine
Heavy snow will quickly take over for the afternoon hours with very messy travel expected. Snow will likely end as some freezing drizzle or sleet in the evening with all precipitation ending 8-10pm. Central and southern Maine see the most snow on Thursday with 3-6". Slightly lower amounts further to the north.
Another 3 to 6 inches of snow expected Thursday in Maine
Initially, it will be cold enough for all snow. Snow begins in southern and western Maine between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. In central and eastern Maine, it’s a later arrival, starting between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The steadiest snow will fall during the afternoon and early evening.
