The Speedway Classic on Aug. 2 will not only give baseball fans the opportunity to see a NASCAR track transformed to host an MLB game, but it will include a unique and massive baseball festival outside the gates to keep fans entertained for hours before first pitch.

The last couple of weeks have been a dream come true for Bluff City native Hunter Stratton. Not only was he traded to the Atlanta Braves, but as we reported Wednesday, he was called up from Triple-A Gwinnett.

The racetrack shared videos of the transformed field, just ahead of the historic game, set for Aug. 2. The game will feature the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds, marking the first time MLB has hosted a game at a racetrack and the first American or National League game ever played in Tennessee.
