“From my point of view....I wanted to help them so bad,” Adams, a Manasquan, N.J. native who is one of three UConn commits in Tuesday’s McDonald’s All-American Game (9 p.m., ESPN2), said Monday in Brooklyn. “I wanted to be in that spot. And so I kind of felt the pain, too.”
According to Alex Philippou, Bueckers has become the first player in UConn women's basketball history with three career 30-point NCAA Tournament games. She's also the only player to have back-to-back 30-point games and multiple 30-point games in a single March Madness run.
It’s the third season that the four women’s regionals have been consolidated into two sites. This year, games are being played in Spokane and Birmingham, Alabama.
