Aside from the parade, there was also concert and fireworks as part of the celebration. The celebration also coincides with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday, National Flag Day, and the Army’s 250th anniversary.
Metropolitan Police in DC arrested several individuals for car theft, aiming to curb a rise in Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Theft One (Stolen Auto) incidents.
