Our next impact event arrives late Monday night into Tuesday morning. This time, some winter weather will be mixed in.

"If we do get some wintry mischief, temperatures look to rebound nicely Saturday with highs reaching near 50 degrees, so should any impacts develop, they will be short-lived," the weather service said.

Morning: Cloudy and cold with slick bridges and overpasses possible. Over northern Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky, a few secondary roads could be treacherous, too, with minor snow/sleet accumulation. Temperatures will be in the 20s and low 30s. Most areas will be dry, but scattered snow flurries will be possible.
