Microsoft is open sourcing WPF, Windows Forms and Win UI via GitHub and making available the first public preview of Visual Studio 2019.

Moving forward with Visual Studio for Mac, Microsoft says it's looking forward to finishing up its C# editor, and bring the Xamarin Forms XAML language service from Windows 10 the Mac.

Microsoft provided an update on its years-long effort to bring the new Windows Forms designer up to speed with the old .NET Framework version.
