The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall on a popular brand of apple juice in 28 states, including Connecticut.

Martinelli’s 10-ounce apple juice bottles are being recalled because they may contain patulin, a mycotoxin produced by moldy fruit. Although no illnesses have been reported, patulin can cause serious health risks if consumed.
