The Hurricanes have signed most of the players they want for the 2025 recruiting class already, but they are pursuing one player from their own backyard who recently reclassified to the 2025 class.

Miami sits at No. 12 in 247Sport's composite class rankings, one spot behind USC and ahead of Penn State. Headlining their 21 December signees are some of the top players in Florida like Girard Pringle Jr., Joshua Moore, Bryce Fitzgerald, and Malachi Toney — as well as several others that had standout seasons on the way to a state championship.

FSU has 23 signees in the 2025 high school class and 16 transfer portal players. With National Signing Day ending, FSU moved to No. 19 in 247 Sports' Composite rankings. The early enrollees and returning players are currently focused on the offseason, which includes the Tour of Duty.
