Seattle Seahawks rule out Charles Cross; Jason Myers named special teams player of the week
The Seattle Seahawks ruled out left tackle Charles Cross from playing in Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring injury as Josh Jones will make the start in his place.
The Seahawks’ kicker has been named NFC special teams player of the week after sending all six of his field goal attempts through the uprights, including a game-winning 56-yarder with under a minute left in the contest. Myers’ other five field goals were from 47, 52, 46, 32, and 30 yards.

Jason Myers brings home NFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Myers’ honor continues his hot streak in the 2025 season after being named Special Teams Player of the Month by the league in November. He becomes the fourth Seahawks player to earn the weekly honor, joining Demarcus Lawrence, Ernest Jones IV and most recently Rashid Saheed.
The Seattle Seahawks were expected to walk all over the Indianapolis Colts and their 44-year old quarterback today, but they didn't exactly come out on fire and determined to make it so. Seattle was sloppy and slow in the first half but eventually found momentum in the second and wound up winning a close one by a score of 18-16.
