Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are reprising those roles in a sequel to their 1998 film, “Practical Magic.” Warner Bros. Studios, which is owned by CNN’s parent company, made the announcement in a video post on Tuesday.

Warner Bros. took to social media Tuesday to announce that director Susanne Bier’s forthcoming feature Practical Magic 2 is set to hit theaters Sept. 18, 2026. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are returning from the original that was released Oct. 16, 1998.

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, who starred as witches and sisters Sally and Gillian Owens in the classic 1998 romantic fantasy film, will reprise their roles in the film.
