By Aditi Shah NEW DELHI (Reuters) -Tata Motors plans to raise about 1 billion euros ($1.14 billion) of equity to repay the loan funding its $4.5 billion offer to buy Iveco's trucks and bus business, the Indian automaker's chief financial officer said on Thursday.

Tata Motors acquires Iveco Group for $4.5 billion, creating a global commercial vehicle powerhouse with combined revenue of ₹2,20,000 crore.

JLR owner Tata Motors will acquire Italian truck manufacturer Iveco Group in a £3.3bn deal. Prior to the agreement, Iveco Group sold its defence division to Italian defence group Leonardo for £1.5bn.
