Jenna Bush Hager said a tearful goodbye to her former Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host Hoda Kotb. Kotb, 60, departed the morning show after 17 years on the Friday, Jan. 10, episode of the Today show. During her final episode, Bush Hager, 43, also took a moment to bid farewell to her co-host of five years.

Kotb and Bush Hager, 43, have hosted “Today with Hoda & Jenna” together since 2019. That year, NBC announced that Hager would replace Kathy Lee Gifford on the fourth hour of “Today” after the latter’s departure earlier that year. The pair quickly became one of daytime television’s most beloved unions.

Nathan Congleton/NBC Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager formed a strong bond both on and off the small screen. Kotb and Bush Hager joined NBC's Today in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and went on to cohost the show's fourth hour together following Kathie Lee Gifford's 2019 exit.
