The New York Yankees are willing to pay to move starting pitcher Marcus Stroman. According to New York Post columnist Jon Heyman, the Yankees are willing to pay part of the $18 million salary due to Stroman for 2025 to help facilitate a trade.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported earlier in the week that the Yankees were actively looking to deal Stroman. On Thursday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reported that the Yankees were willing to pay down part of Stroman's salary to facilitate a trade.

The New York Yankees still need innings in the rotation, and could sign a mid-tier free agent (who isn't Marcus Stroman).
