Los Angeles Angels slugger Mike Trout is closing in on 400 career home runs and 1,000 career RBIs. Trout entered the start of a three-game series against the Phillies having the kind of season that has defined most of his last five seasons in California.

Trout strikes out twice with runners on – including a chance to break the game open in the fifth – and pops out to end the game with the tying run in scoring position, capping a 3-2 defeat.
