Milwaukee Alderman Peter Burgelis told a Common Council committee the new $111 billion, two-year state budget doesn’t do enough for Milwaukee.

Under the legislation adopted by the committee, a hearing before a magistrate would be required within 48 hours of a complaint filed by a property owner.
