May 6, 2022 · During Stan Corey’s 14-year tenure, the District’s first superintendent established a foundation that has resulted in IUSD becoming one of California’s most successful school districts. Five decades later, his vision still lives on.

An integral part of the Mightly Marching Vaqueros, the Irvine Color Guard showcases dance and special auxiliary skills with flags, rifles and sabers. During the Fall Season, Color Guard performs at the school half time shows and cheers with the band during away games.

Fisher attended St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey, which was a two-hour commute from Fisher's home in The Bronx. "I looked around at everybody around me; I knew that if I didn't get out of here, I'd never make it" , Fisher said on his reason to attend school in New Jersey. [ 5 ]
