Nov 8, 2024 · Registration for MAHA Girls and Boys District Player Selection Camps will open in November! For all Girls and Boys Tier 1 and MHSAA Varsity players, registration will open on Saturday, November 16 at 8:00 am. For Tier 2 and all other Boys, registration will open on Saturday, November 30 at 8:00 am.

MAHA has partnered with EventConnect on processing hotel accommodations for key events throughout each season, starting with the 2023 MAHA State Playoffs. Unlike most hotel booking services, MAHA does not have an up charge built into this service.

Tier I Hockey (AAA) is to provide an opportunity for the best Michigan youth players to develop and compete at the highest level of hockey available in the United States.

MAHA teams can post their tryouts on the MAHA website. The team contact simply fills out the registration form and the tryouts are posted throughout the time frame established by the team. The system will allow you to enter up to (4) dates, times and locations for your tryouts.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – December 2, 2024 – The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) will take over Buffalo Wild Wings Arena for a weekend of Tier I hockey, as the 14U - 18U divisions battle in the MAHA Tier I Winter Showcase, December 6-8, 2024.

The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) is administered in geographical districts. MAHA District 8 includes most of the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) of Michigan, excluding only the two easternmost U.P. counties of Mackinac and Chippewa, which are in District 7.

The Runners Up Tournament is used to fill open spots in the State Playoffs. Districts that do not have teams at certain classification turn their spots back into to MAHA. MAHA hold this tournament for those teams that finish second in their district in the needed classification.

MAHA probably offers one the most the most diverse programs in the country, with teams and programs at almost every level there is. MAHA affiliates also present opportunities for junior hockey, disabled hockey, adult men and women leagues. Youth Hockey helps develop smart, active, great kids.
