5950x new to overclocking and want the best out of my cpu!
Feb 5, 2021 · Use Ryzen Master to identify your best performing cores in each of your CCX's (you've got two since you're running a 5950X. CCX=8 cores, so you get two for total of 16 cores). The dual CCX Chips, 5950X and 5900X all have C0 in CCX1 as their best performing, just FYI. Ryzen Master should corroborate this.

It's worth noting that Ryzen master always reports a temperature that's anywhere from 0-9C lower than the temps reported by Afterburner and NZXT Cam. Pretty sure this is package vs core temp. Should a 5950X with stock boosting be hitting 80C on a 360 AIO with fans (I know QL120 are crappy for rads) pegged at max?

Dec 7, 2020 · When using pbo my 5950x uses around 1.4V while doing the stresstest built into ryzen master and the core clock is around 4.2-4.3Ghz. I did however change to a manual overclock of 1.3V and all cores @4.5Ghz(4.6 at 1.3V is an instant crash).

I am mainly looking for recommendations for longevity of processor with maximum benefit in terms of performance. Static 4550Mhz all [email protected] and temps reaching 100 max during stress testing. Sep 12, 2021 · Hello guys, I've finally built my long-awaited Ryzen 5950X PC but now I'm having a lot of stability issues. I'm getting random crashes and BSOD. BIOS, drivers, and OS are all up to date. All hardware is brand new. RAM and MB are in both manufacturer's QVL/Compatibility lists. I have previous experience with Intel builds and never got any problems.
