Broody hens can do a few things… 1. They will sit on the nest and eventually give up. 2. They will sit on eggs for 21 days until they hatch and move on with life. 3. They will sit on the nest for months, deteriorating their health, and possibly die of malnutrition. This isn’t an exaggeration I’ve seen it happen to others!
