The Royal Lancers have settled back into routine with some back to basics dismounted close combat tactics in their ‘back garden’ – the Catterick Training Area. The Regiment has recently returned from dispersed duty (at home during lockdown) where they conducted distance learning and individual physical fitness. Troopers from the unit’s B Squadron have relished the opportunity to safely return to some refresher training on the range and carrying out preparations ready to support a field training

Soldiers from The Royal Lancers have been working with the Royal Danish Army on Exercise Lucknow Lancer, developing how we integrate with our NATO partners. Around 750 personnel, approximately 300 vehicles, made their way from Catterick Garrison to a training area in Scotland.
