🎓 Our universities deserve better funding. Last week, the University of Nottingham announced that it is closing 16 courses as part of cost cutting measures, including at our local Sutton Bonnington campus in Rushcliffe. In addition to meeting with unions and asking for a meeting with the university, I asked the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology what more funding we can get to the frontline to mitigate the funding crisis in higher education. | James Naish for Rushcliffe
