Let’s say after changing the oil, the oil temperature sensor stops working. Here’s a trick: take a vacuum and connect it to the oil cap port. Turn it on — it’ll create a vacuum, and the only place it’ll pull air from is the hole where you removed the sensor. Because of the suction, the oil won’t drain out.
