Here’s a few things I’ve learned over the last few years. Since getting a laser cutter from @hpclaser we’ve started to use it to etch joining features into the denim parts so that they always have the same thickness. It’s much harder to do this on a Cnc machine that wants to move the material around. So now the Cnc machine is used once the pieces are assembled, to trim them exactly to shape.
